Indian as already announced it for the World Cup 2019 and it came as a surprise to many that seamer Ishant Sharma is yet to represent India in a World Cup. Mow, according to the latest report, Indian pacer Ishant Sharma has been named in the Team India reserve list alongside Rishabh Pant, Ambati Rayudu and Navdeep Saini for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 in England.

According to the repory, Ishant Sharma has been considered as a secondary option even in the reserve list. A source in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that the Ishant  is second to his countrymen Navdeep Saini as far as the selection for the ICC World Cup squad is concerned.

Sharma is currently playing Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) made his last appearance for India back in 2016 during the Australia tour. With Delhi making to the playoffs after 7 years, Ishant Sharma can take much credit for Shreyas Iyer side's stellar campaign in the ongoing IPL season. With a satisfactory economy rate of 7.65, the Delhi Capitals fast bowler has 10 scalps in 10 games.
