Ranchi: An official of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has been killed in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The deceased was identified as Mukesh Soni. They have been shot dead. Police are collecting information about who the killers are. The incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday (December 15) at 6.30 pm. According to media reports, the deceased Mukesh was about 38 years old. He was the head of Khalari block of VHP.

He was shot while he was on his way home from McCluskeyganj in Khalari police station area after closing his jewellery shop. Mukesh Soni has 2 bullets in his chest. Locals rushed Mukesh to Dakra Central Hospital in Anan-Phanan where he was declared brought dead. According to the report, Mukesh had informed his family members from his mobile after being shot. Mukesh had called his wife and told her about the attack. In the meantime, he fainted while talking. Police came to know about the case and rushed to the spot. The body has been rushed to the hospital for postmortem.

Khalari DSP Animesh Nathani and SHO Khalari Farid Alam questioned the locals about the incident. According to DSP, the accused will be arrested soon. According to SP dehat Naushad Alam, CCTV footage is being scanned. The incident will be disclosed soon. Bjp Lok Sabha MP from Ranchi Sanjay Seth has attacked the Hemant government following the incident. In a tweet, he wrote that there is a conspiracy to make Jharkhand like Kerala and West Bengal. Bjp and RSS thought family members are being targeted here. They are being murdered.
