Kochi:The government is vigorously conducting vaccination drives to make Desh corona free, but in the meantime, 2 girls aged 15 were vaccinated with corona on Thursday (December 2) due to negligence in Kerala. Both the girls lost their health due to the vaccine after which they have been admitted to the hospital.

The incident took place at Community Health Centre Uzhamalaikal in rural areas of Aryanad area of Thiruvananthapuram district. According to the report, the two class 10 students had gone to the CHC centre on Thursday morning (December 2, 2021), but after reaching there, the health centre staff accidentally administered them a dose of the covishield vaccine. The two girls were then admitted to a medical college and hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Hospital sources said the condition of the two girls remains stable.

According to the report, both the girls are residents of Kulapara. At present, the medical officer of Aryanad Hospital has said that the students had inadvertently come to the Covid Vaccination Wing. They are out of danger right now. In the case, Aryand police have said that they have received two separate complaints from the parents of the affected students. Further action is currently being taken in the matter. At present, only those above the age of 18 years are being vaccinated against corona, while the Central Government has not yet taken any decision on immunization of people younger than that.
