An appaling case is reported from Hyderabad in Telangana. A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the police for attempting to sexually assault a minor girl in the case. According to Circle Inspector Ashok Reddy of LB Nagar Police Station, "We have registered a case against the accused under various provisions of the law including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (PSOSO) Act. He has been remanded to judicial custody. The name of the charge is being disclosed.

The eight-year-old girl was playing at her grandfather's bicycle repair shop at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday when she came and took the child with her. According to reports, his grandfather had gone out of the shop for some time.
