Jaipur: The case of selling daughters on stamps in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan is getting worse. Reports say that after the matter came to light, Gehlot raised serious questions about the working style of the government. In view of the seriousness of the matter, the National Human Rights Commission issued a notice to the Rajasthan government and sought a reply. At the same time, the State Women's Commission Chairman also demanded strict action in the case. However, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot described the episode as many years old and talked about the investigation. At the same time, to know the truth of the case, the Rajasthan State Women's Commission summoned a report from the District Collector and SP, after which on Saturday, Rajasthan Police Chief DGP ML Lather and District Collector Ashish Modi also made many important revelations while giving information about the whole matter.

It is known that media reports have claimed that girls are still being auctioned in Bhilwara and many surrounding areas and the deal of girls is done. At the same time, to create pressure, the process of raping the mother of the girls and writing on stamp paper has also started.

Rajasthan Director General of Police ML Lather said on Saturday that social evils like prostitution of women in the house are prevalent in many parts of the society and such activities are constantly being monitored by the police. Lather said that the case is three years old and in this alleged case, two victim girls were sent to Nari Niketan in Ajmer.

At the same time, in 2019, a case has been registered against 25 people in this case and the crime has also been proved in court. Lather further said that the Rajasthan Police is very sensitive to any kind of crimes against women and special monitoring is being done on cases of women atrocities. On the case related to the sale and purchase of girls, Lather said that the police are constantly collecting information in the news about the purchase and immoral acts of women and minors. At the same time, it was said on behalf of the police that against such crimes, the police had also launched a campaign in the name of Operation Gudiya in the Bhilwara district in the year 2019.
