Sehore: The famous Maa Vijayasana Devi temple in Madhya Pradesh's Salkanpur was breached by four thieves amid tight security. Here, under the supervision of CCTV, masked people broke the lock of the strong room and escaped with 6 sacks full of notes. However, two sacks were found on the temple premises itself. About 6 lakh rupees were stolen from the temple.

Popular on the Vindhya hills at Salkanpur in Sehore district is the temple of Goddess Vijayasana Devi. There are all the security arrangements in this temple. But defying the entire system, the thieves carried out this incident. This has caused a stir in the police department. The thieves stole 5 to 6 sacks full of notes. Out of these, leaving 2 sacks in the temple, they escaped with the remaining 3 sacks. The value of the money stolen from the temple has been estimated to be around Rs 5 to 6 lakh.

Gold and silver worth crores of rupees and lakhs of rupees live in the strong room in the Maa Vijayasana Devi temple in Salkanpur. Not only this but a police post has also been set up on the temple premises for its security. Here 4 armed police guards are deployed in the security of the temple 24 hours. Yet theft took place in this temple. After the news of the theft, senior officers including the SP of the district reached the spot and started investigating the theft. The police are examining the CCTV footage. In this, two young thieves are seen with iron rods in their hands and tying a cloth on their mouths. Police are searching for the thieves.
