Here, under the supervision of CCTV, masked people broke the lock of the strong room and escaped with 6 sacks full of notes. However, two sacks were found on the temple premises itself. About 6 lakh rupees were stolen from the temple.

But defying the entire system, the thieves carried out this incident. This has caused a stir in the police department. The thieves stole 5 to 6 sacks full of notes. Out of these, leaving 2 sacks in the temple, they escaped with the remaining 3 sacks. The value of the money stolen from the temple has been estimated to be around Rs 5 to 6 lakh.
Gold and silver worth crores of rupees and lakhs of rupees live in the strong room in the Maa Vijayasana Devi temple in Salkanpur.
