Shahdol: A lactating girl child lost her life due to superstition in the Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. Here in the name of treatment of pneumonia, the girl was hit with hot rods 51 times. For the past few days, she was fighting between life and death in the hospital. Eventually, she died. When the newborn was on a ventilator, the authorities did not take any action against those who made her condition like this. Now after the death of the girl, there is talk of investigation and action. 

The doctors who treated the girl said that the innocent was having frequent tremors as if someone was burning her. She was ingrained with hot bars 51 times. Because of this, she died on Wednesday during treatment at the Medical College Hospital. The police administration is only talking about investigating the matter. This entire matter pertains to Singhpur Kathoutia village which comes under the district. The infection had spread in the girl's body due to the burning of the skin. She was having frequent tremors. The infection had also spread to the brain. The team of experts at Medical College Shahdol made a lot of efforts to save her. The situation also improved in between, but suddenly the condition worsened and the girl died on Wednesday. 

On the other hand, when Collector Vandana Vaidya discussed this matter, she said that the death of the girl must have been due to pneumonia, not due to burning. Superintendent of Police Kumar Prateek says that instructions have been given to the officers for action and investigation. An FIR will be lodged against whoever is found guilty after the investigation.
