Vizianagaram: Two innocent children died in a painful road accident, according to the information received, G. Two girls, Sita (7) and Dnyaneshwari (6) living in Agraharam street, were going with their father on Sunday morning when the truck rammed the bike in the Apollo Medical Shop area. Both the children died on the spot due to serious injuries. The truck driver fled the scene leaving the truck behind. Police reached the spot and registered a case.

A similar incident took place at Chilakaluripet in Guntur district where the girl, Batti Mounika, who is pursuing her Inter first year, was being taken to the examination center by her brother Kumaraswamy on a bike. His vehicle collided with a truck on the national highway near the examination centre. Kumaraswamy died on the spot while Mounika was seriously injured in the accident.

The police reached the spot and sent Maunika to Guntur for treatment. In another incident that took place at Deen Dayal Nagar in Nellore district, two little girls accidentally fell into a ditch and died. The children's mother had gone to the canal to wash clothes. Chandu and Kalpana took their two children with them. However, the two children accidentally fell into a ditch and died, causing tragedy in their family.
