Woman from UP murders husband, disposes of body in toilet pit

MUZAFFARNAGAR:   A 25-year-old woman and her lover are accused of killing her husband and burying his body in their Muzaffarnagar district home's seven-foot-deep toilet hole.

The woman continued to reside at the same house, police said.

Sagar Ahmed, 30, who was the victim, was found dead on Thursday night, some ten days after his murder at the Purkazi police station's Mandla village.

Police claim that on June 7, the accused woman, identified as Ashiya, reported her husband missing.

During the investigation, it came to light that Ashiya was in a relationship with Sagar's stepbrother Suhail Ahmed, aged 28, who lives in the same area.

Gyaneshwar Kumar, the Purkazi police station's SHO, stated that Ashiya had admitted to killing her husband by strangling him together with Suhail and burying him in the toilet pit. Both people are in custody. Satyanarayan Prajapati, SP (city), stated, "The magistrate was called to the site. The area was dug up, and the body was found and taken for an autopsy.
