New Delhi: The daughter of the ACP, who ran a car on a parking employee in the mall of Saket, the capital of the country, has been arrested. Along with this, the car has also been confiscated by the Saket police station. The girl had rammed the car on the foot of the parking employee on October 16, in which the employee was badly injured. The employee's life could also have been lost in this incident.
The father of the accused girl is posted as Deputy Commissioner (ACP) in Delhi Police itself. Due to his influence, he did not even allow an FIR to be registered against his daughter for 4 days. However, seeing the controversy escalating, on October 20, the Saket police station registered a case against the accused girl under sections 279 and 337 of the IPC. After which the accused has been arrested on the second day of the FIR (on 21st October). According to Delhi Police, the 34-year-old girl was leaving the parking lot with her car after a party at the mall late on October 16. In the meantime, she rammed the car at the feet of the parking employee. When the parking staff saw all this, they caught the girl. But, being the daughter of ACP sahib, the matter was hushed up and the injured parking worker was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
It was known that the posting of the ACP father of the accused girl is also in South Delhi. Due to the matter being of Saket police station, the police tried to hide it for 4 days. But, when the matter came to the media, on October 20, the police registered a case against the accused under sections 279 and 337 of IPC. DCP Chandan Chaudhary informed that when the victim recorded the statement, the police immediately registered the case. At present, the investigation of the case is going on. The police also have CCTV footage of this accident, in which it is clearly visible while the whole incident happened. According to media reports, ACP's daughter was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Despite this, the police did not get the accused medical.
