Jaipur: Madhusudan Modi was stabbed by Muslim youths at a Dandiya event held in Rajasthan's Bikaner. According to the report, Muslim youths were molesting girls who had come to play Garba, so Madhusudan opposed them. Enraged by this, Muslim youths attacked him with a knife. Police have arrested one of the attackers, Sameer Nadsa, while the rest are said to be absconding.

According to reports, the Garba event was being held on Saturday (October 1, 2022) at the railway ground under the Kotgate police station area of Bikaner. During this event, some Muslim youths were molesting girls performing Garba there. When Madhusudan saw all this, he tried to stop those boys. After which an argument started between them. Madhusudan's family alleged that it was during this argument that the Muslim boys threatened to kill Madhusudan. After this, when he came out of the Garba pandal with his friends, Muslim boys attacked him together.
Madhusudan's father Dinesh Modi, in a statement to the police, said that on October 1, at around 10:25 pm, Madhusudan's friend Kishan Daiya received a call. He said that at 8 pm, he, Ajay Ojha, Kishan Bhati and Madhusudan had gone to play Garba at the railway ground. There were some boys molesting girls. When Madhusudan refused them, they got into a fight and threatened to kill him if he stepped out.

Subsequently, as Madhusudan and his accomplices stepped out of the pandal, 15-20 boys were standing near Saras Buth in a lane opposite the railway ground. As soon as all these companions reached there, the Muslim boys tried to beat them and attacked them with sticks, rods and knives. During this time, some people were holding Madhusudan and one stabbed Madhusudan in the stomach with a knife. After which, friends admitted Madhusudan to the Trauma Center of PBM Hospital. where his condition remains critical.
In this case, on the basis of the statement of Madhusudan's father, the police have registered a case against Sameer Nadsa, Shahrukh Pathan, Zubair Pathan and others under Sections 307, 323, 324, 341 and Section 143 of the IPC. The police have succeeded in arresting Sameer Nadsa, the accused in the case of the fatal attack on Madhusudan, while the others are said to be absconding. At present, the police are interrogating Sameer and raiding in search of other accused.
