British musician Monty Norman, who composed the theme of Hollywood actor James Bond's movies, has passed away. Monty breathed his last at the age of 94. Everyone's eyes have moistened on hearing the news of Monty's death. His death has been confirmed on Monty's website.  

A statement shared on Monty's website read: "It is with profound sadness that we are sharing with you the news that Monty Norman has passed away on July 11, 2022, following an illness.'' Everyone has expressed grief on hearing the news of Monty's demise.

Monty was born in London in 1928 in a Jewish family. Norman first started playing the guitar at the age of 16. After which Monty started working with comedian Benny Hill's band. After which Monty Norman started writing songs and giving music for British rockers Cliff Richard and Tommy Steele. After which producer Albert Broccoli hired Monty to compose the theme of 'Doctor No', the first movie of the James Bond series,  which was released in the year 1962. The theme music was much liked by the people. James Bond became Monty's identity with the series of films.
